The task of Tukikummit is to build a better and more equal world for all young people – to remove loneliness and purposelessness from their lives. We want every young person, regardless of their financial situation, to have the opportunity to build social networks and realize themselves.

Tukikummit wants to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to enjoy and belong to the group. We work so that no one is left out and alone.

In Finland, an estimated 65,000 young people are at risk of being marginalized due to the family’s financial situation. Since 2007, the Tukikummit Foundation has been collecting funds for these young people so that they don’t fall out of hobbies and groups of friends. The foundation has already collected more than 7,000,000 euros to support hobby activities for children and young people.

We operate with zero costs, and collecting donations is done with the help of volunteers. In this way, every euro received as a gift goes directly to the purpose for which it was donated – to help someone in need.

Tukikummit was founded in 2007 by President Sauli Niinistö.
